Complaints
This site does not employ technicians. When you call, you are connected with an independent local heating and cooling contractor that serves your area. That company inspects the system, gives you its price and does the work if you hire it. When a job or a call goes badly, these are the places to raise it.
About the contractor's work
The contractor you hired is responsible for its work, prices and warranty. Contact the company first and set out the problem in writing, keeping copies of invoices and photos. If that doesn't resolve it:
- Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors. The LSLBC licenses and registers contractors and accepts complaints against them. You can file a complaint through the board's website at lslbc.louisiana.gov.
- Louisiana Attorney General. For billing, sales or advertising practices, contact the Consumer Protection Section of the Louisiana Attorney General's office.
- This site. Let us know, too. Referrals to a company that treats customers badly can be stopped.
About this site or the referral
If something on the site was wrong, a call was handled badly, or nobody followed up with you, call (337) 429-1077 or email contact@aclakecharles.com with the date and what happened. Complaints are answered within five business days.
